More Uwe Boll

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Far Cry
Postal
BloodRayne
Hunter: The Reckoning
and one more I can't remember.
That's on top of Dungeon Siege.

And all are due before the end of 2006.

Ugh.

This has to be a big plot by Hollywood to make people think video games are crap.

Oh, there is no hope, but I HAD considered seeing Dungeon Siege, just like I am considering seeing Doom... just to see the spectacle of it all...

I probably wont see Doom. I've seen movie trailers "Last 10% of human genome decoded/it makes monsters!" and I've already heard advance reviews saying it is horrible.

The quick MTV style movie cuts and stoopid first person shaky cam was enough for me to never see Doom... plus it's not even about a Marine fighting the denizens of hell, which was the whole plot of Doom, fuck that noise.

The preview w\ the chainsaw was enough for me to throw it in the 'Flix queue, waaaaay down there, though.

Looking forward to seeing the Exorcist prequel that didn't suck. You know, the one that was made by Paul Schrader (who worked as a screenwriter on "Mean Streets"), the director the studio FIRED when most of the film was already done, then hired Renny fucking Harlin (of "Cutthroat Island") to make a substandard piece of shit.

How is it that "Serenity," which looks to have made few compromises, yields creative control to the writers whereas "Doom" (which LEGIONS of more fans) looks like a made-for-MTV movie & yields creative control to...well, no one. Christ, I bet I could've written a better script.

Goddamnit, Bloodrayne & Hunter could've been decent flicks. Why the hell do studios keep hiring directors that perpetually produce flicks that flop?

Malcolm, when you gain control of the planet, put me in charge of Hollywood.

I'll make sure Peter Jackson and Bryan Singer never get to take a vacation again.

Seriously, though, you've got Director A, who's churned out a zillion shitty-ass flicks no one gives a second thought to, or you've got Director B that's competent.

WHY do you hire Director A & give him a modest budget to make shit that won't get a return instead of hiring Director B, giving him a modest budget, & produce something that'll make at least seven or eight figures in box office revenue? That isn't financially sound.

List of actors who will have their career ruined (according to imdb.com) by Uwe Boll in :

Far Cry :

Jason Statham

Postal : No data

Bloodrayne :

Kristanna Loken (the T-X from T3)
Michael Madsen
Michelle Rodriguez
Meat Loaf
Ben Kingsley
Billy Zane

Hunter : the Reckoning : No data

Dungeon Siege (DAMN, this one hurts) :

Jason Statham
Kristanna Loken
Ray Liotta
John Rhys-Davies
Matthew Lillard (Shaggy from Scooby-Doo)
Leelee Sobieski (bitch that can't act)
Burt Reynolds
Ron Perlman

Goddamn, these movies are gonna lose cash on the actors' salaries alone.

He's got two more : Fear Effect & Night Claws.

Checking the imbd BBS, not one person has a positive thing to say about Uwe Boll & they're all begging him to stop. In fact, he's got the offer of someone to sleep w\ him if he stops making movies.

Looks like I've never seen one of his movies. So I should avoid them all?

Yes believe Malcom, avoid him at all costs.

Someone needs to make a movie on what a shitty director he is.
