DTF St. Louis (HBO MAX)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

DTF St. Louis (HBO MAX)

Post by TheCatt »

Two middle-aged dudes are a little bored in their marriages. One has money issues, the other is a local TV weatherman. They become besties! Then one dies (murdered?). Then there are several episodes about what really happened. In theory there's an app named DTF St. Louis for local hookups, but it doesn't really seem to factor much into the show, imho.

I'm halfway through. It's interesting. Story is told from different perspectives. Each person has their own flavor of events, story is told non-linearly, etc. So you have to figure out what really happened, maybe they reveal it in the end, I dunno.

It feels like a show where you have to pay close attention. Hopefully that bears out in the finale.

Despite the insane name, I'm tempted to check it out.

Wait, so when I read the thread title as "Down To Fuck", I was right?

Give us an update on how you feel after the finale.

Yes.

So far it's very interesting. A little slow at some points, but interesting.
