I guess it's like the music version of a movie.

Yeah. They choreographed the shit out of it. Once.

Oh wow. So uneducated on this topic. So. . . . Oblivious. . . .

Have you ever been to a Festival or show featuring any RESPECTED EDM artists? Also, can we even confirm that this truly came from the mouth of Deadmau5. I've always enjoyed some of his music, but I wouldn't really say he's a big name in EDM, he came and went extremely quickly. GRiZ, Pretty Lights, BassNectar, Excision, NERO, Dillon Francis, Paper Diamond, MOBY, SuperVision, Break Science, DIPLO, Knife Party, BIG GIGANTIC, Kill Paris. . . . .etc. THOSE are big names in EDM, they've practically pioneered an entirely new and awesome genre of electronic.

Can't even believe any of you would say this is "Push Play". I can't help but laugh hysterically at your ignorance! So offended hahah. Here's my proof, this dude has a major House influence(very linear, for those rolling tits, not those actually enjoying good music) which I hate, but I can still respect the level of skill he demonstrates.

Yamato Black

We're not easy to please, as you claim. It's a COMPLETELY different style of music, and if you are honestly arrogant enough to think that any other genre is better than EDM, you're very old and one track minded. Everyone has their taste, don't be that guy.

EDM is the shit. Feel free to enjoy your Nancy Sinatra, but please hop off EDM's nuts ;D Much appreciated!

Yeah yeah yeah. I feel strongly on this subject, my parents love to give me shit for having a wider music taste then them. I can't tell you how much the music taste of people 4-5 years before me drives me crazy, I think it's garbage. I'm probably wrong, but I just feel that it's not a very talented music genre. The beats are extremely boring, and the lyrics are something to laugh at, they rhyme anything they can think of, regardless of how irrelevant it is to the rest of their lyrics. Gay.

When you have to include "What rhymes with hug me" into your lyrics (Blurred Lines-Robin Thicke), I lose extreme amounts of respect for you and your ability to create decent lyrics. It's like he tried to tie rap god Eminem with pop god Britney Spears. Lets make these lyrics rhyme, but lets also sound really fucking stupid and catchy at the sametime. . . . . UGH. Not good music.

Well, if you LISTEN to the rest of the lyrics, they want to say "Fuck me", but don't so there's no radio edit and it's funnier.

Electronic is random noise. . . to a beat.

Yeah, it was a joke. I was amused.

And Thicke may not have written much of it.

Well at least they don't have a concert where they just push "play" and bob their heads to the beat.

I don't hate Primus, but I would never call them awesome.

Aside from Big Brown Beaver, and that song's awesome because of the story behind it.

Not everything is awesome or sucks.

Picture a sliding scale:
Sucks <---------------------------------> Awesome

There's a lot of room between those extremes. IMHO, Primus is closer to Awesome than Sucks, but I wouldn't put them at the extreme end of that scale.

Now if they were called Optimus Primus...

They put on a good live show. So do the Bosstones. I can't say the same for all the bands I've seen. They're in the upper 10-25% of performers.
