Payday 1 and 2 - Remind me of TF2 or L4D, but you're bank robbers.

I'd be most interested in this if more BL2 isn't getting support.

No MMORPG is going to compare to UO. They just aren't the same.

You sound like an old man pining for and waxing poetic about the good old days. Oddly enough, I sort of agree. UO spoiled more than a few folk here.

Unless you can exactly recreate 1999 again with servers full of people, there'd be no point.

Unless you had a few thousand semi-honest, non-asshole friends, the only use for a private UO server would be PvM. If you take away the MMO, you're left with a frozen, primitive, limited version of Minecraft with an isometric view.

With a storyline game a lot of people want to always be part of it so they don't miss parts of the story. If that is 4 people, then you can't play unless those exact 4 people are available and online.

Yeah, that's a bit of a drawback, but there's nothing stopping you from running simultaneous campaigns with a couple different groups of people depending who's there and who ain't.

It's not the time sink it used to be, with macroing of skills. And UO is the kind of game that a single person could play if no one is on, or two can go out hunting or dungeon crawling, or 4 people, or a different 4 people, it doesn't matter.

No. Also, good luck talking Cake into this plan.

Yeah, that's been covered. You're skimming.

FYI, PA is basically a sequel to Supreme Commander, which we all enjoyed.

That is incorrect. This is a sequel to TA, not SC. :D

I'd be most interested in this if more BL2 isn't getting support.

I think only Stranger and I have played BL2 lately. My lvl 51 character is standing right at the start of Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.

Yeah, I already own it.

I'll be on tonight around 10ish.

Still got a 51 Zer0, if I recall. Plan to grab a table and chair after the anticipated Xmas gift card eases the cost. Got a fuckload of DLC I haven't touched. Finished the pirate one. About 75% of the way through TORGUE. Barely scratched Hammerlock DLC because I was getting destroyed solo. Haven't touched Tiny Tina DLC.

Adjusting the start time tonight to accommodate more people. I need Gordon to start earlier than 9:30. So, as soon as he's ready, we will start.

Fuck me. Trying to download the game... and either something is wrong with my Internet, or Steam is slammed.

Anything for $5, I'll probably buy without giving a fuck. Anything between that and a Jackson is slightly dependent upon proof of not sucking. The level of proof rises in proportion to the game costing more than $20.

I've heard some good stuff about King Arthur's Gold.

Team based medieval combat with building and all kinds of madness. Max 32 players, so would be about right for a group.

$7.50 on the Steam sale.

Oh and to tempt the UO fates.

IPY 3 Launches in less than a month. I don't know much about it other than that. I got an email this morning.

Add Nether to our list, although it's in Alpha.

Looks like a L4D type of game.

I'm around, but not ready to game. I will be on at some point. Waiting for the kids to get home from a cookie making party. As soon as they're in bed, I'll play.

I have Monaco, DD, AoE II, and GoI all installed.

I am typically ready before 10pm each night. Kid is in bed and the beer is in the glass. Usually 9:30, but I say 10 for cushion in case of unexpected shit.

Once the holidays quiet down, my availability ranges from 8 or 9pm CST to somewhere around 12-1am CST. Usually a couple days a week that start time could be bumped up to 6 to 7 pm CST.

Leisher, what was that game we voted for, that did not go on sale? You pointed it out to me the other night.
