I've noticed the same memory issues.

I still like it though, so I still use it.

FireFox... why not EVER release some fucking memory you piece of shit?

Memory consumption was at 1.07GB... closed Firefox, down to 596MB.
I swear to Christ that IE has a hideous memory leak when opening & closing browser windows.

I'm using a toolbar for Firefox called StumbleUpon. I love it.
You tell it what you like, click the stumble button, and it takes you to a cool website that reflects your interests. It's a great time killer, and a only a small percentage of the websites sucks.

Yah, I use that to find flash games every once in a while.

FYI, I think Firefox 2 comes out late today.

I'll wait a few days in case it's buggy.

The Stumble toolbar is cool. It's great at finding cool stuff.

I just installed Firefox 2.0. I'd been having trouble with the old version not shutting down like it should, but putting in the new version seemed to fix it.
