So today I was trying some google-hacking, this trick being looking for webcams.

I tried using IE, but it kept trying to download the "video.cgi" file.

So I gave up and tried FireFox. It worked.

So far, I like the tabbed browsing. Haven't tried too many places, but havent found any place that hates the browser yet.
It's not me, it's someone else.

I figured I'd wait for someone to find something interesting and share it with me, but no one has so far.

I did a search on robots.txt to see what people aren't allowing to be spidered by search engines.
I didn't expect to find this:

According to here:
If you search for one of the following three phrases, the results will give you links to thousands of random webcams from around the world:

inurl:"ViewerFrame?Mode="

inurl:"MultiCameraFrame?Mode="

inurl:"view/index.shtml"

Various search phrases for various cameras.

I found that link from here. The guy recommends the WebcamXP search.

I sort of liked the Sony one. I skipped the top entries, and started browsing in the 180+ range, and only checked ones with IP addresses instead of domain names.

It changes. There where a bunch of fat seals unbathing when I looked.
This one has people sunbathing (from a distance).

I find this one odd.

I'm also amazed at how many have webcams for their servers, and construction sites.

Yep, it's overcast today.

Where's that hunting rifle tied to the webcam? I want to make those people dance!

Also, that first sunbathing one I posted seems to be a telescope or something, with people controlling it. Because it moves around a lot, and pauses on interesting things.

Maybe you need Java activated. I saw it running on some other webcams.

This one has my attention.

Nothing was going on. It was quiet. Then I checked back in and some guy was messing with the Coke machine. Then the lamp goes on.

I'm trying to figure out what he's doing.

Now he quit and took his monitor, and other desk clutter. Weird.

I just noticed that the date is off as well.

Maybe he's trying to fix the date on his webcam.
