No, this isn't a Spider-Man movie. This will be a Kraven movie that features Spider-Man, which is actually perfect. Kraven is a really deep character, so him getting all the time to have his character built up makes sense. Kraven's Last Hunt is a brilliant story whose impact will land way too soft if the audience doesn't know him.

Lead actor has been in a lot, but the last movie I watched him in he was the Stoner part of the love triangle in Savages. Blake Lively was one of other sides.
Very boring after the opening scene for half the movie, and then it ramps up. The CGI is pretty meh.
Lots of nods to the Spiderman canon, including a bit of foreshadowing for Kraven vs Spiderman that we'll never see at Sony. (Sony halted all Spiderman projects, and is now considering selling it all back to Marvel/Disney after a string of bombs.)
If Marvel gets Kraven, here's hoping they do him right. He's not a hero, but he's also not a villain. In this movie, he's played as a hero. In the books, Kraven goes after Spidey simply because he believes the Spider to be the ultimate game. He is truly a man of honor though, and has released Spiderman more than once due to the hunt not being pure.
Not the worst watch ever, but it does kill excitement knowing that there will never be any sort of follow up.
