I'm pulling my hair out trying to get this damned NIC installed. Two days now. Missing .dll's left and right. I'm currently reloading Win98... system can't even find ipconfig.exe.
I'm building a Win98 box...
Nah, there was something seriously wrong with the initial OS install... trying to set up TCP/IP, was getting "can't find ping.exe on win98 cd"... like, 75 of those missing file messgaes.Win98 uses winipcfg.exe, not ipconfig.exe.
Are you using an older network card? May have issues finding drivers otherwise.
Reload of OS over bad install fix0red it.
Looks good, now. Just need to figure out where this box is going to live.

What's funny is that Lord British named his game "Ultima: I" before there existed an "Ultima II."
