I been trying to cultivate a Jason Statham look lately (I've actually had people---totally unsolicited---make that comparison). Fortunately most of his movies are streamable from netflix.
I watched Killer Elite last night. It has some rather big names, including De Niro and Clive Owen. De Niro seems like he's phoning it in, and my guess is that they tried to keep expenses down by only having him on the set for like a day or something.
Anyway, overall not a bad action/shooter/whatever. It was a little long---they could have cut a couple of the plot twists, and there was one big "wow what a coincidence" moment that I felt was weak. But not bad for a Man Night movie.
Killer Elite
"Based on a true story."
This was a good flick, although much longer than typical action movies.
Great action, great acting, and a solid plot.
See it.
