The Grey - Yay! Netflix.

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Liam Neeson in a plane crash in the middle of Alaska, Man vs. Nature ensues.

This movie is rife with symbolism and metaphor, and is made all the more powerful by the fact that, if I recall correctly, his wife actually died recently before filming this movie. Many parts of this flick feel like him working his shit out on film.

The commercials for this showed him taping broken bottles and knives to his fist, and punching out wolves... that imagery is so not representative of this movie that it is ridiculous.

It is heavily man vs, nature, but it is also man vs. himself, cutting through bullshit and coming to terms with their lives while trying to survive. Pretty interesting flick.

Interesting film.

Not sure I can recommend it though.

Makes it far more interesting knowing Liam's real life backstory.
