Long story short, zombies during the Civil War era.
This is an indy film that tries to get too artistic at moments, like the animated chapter intros, but there's a good film here.
The acting is surprisingly decent, and the pacing is strong. It seemed like a really long movie, but it never felt boring.
The plot isn't perfect, but it's enough.
Since it's free if you're on Netflix, a viewing is worth it, but I wouldn't make it the star of movie night. More like, have it on while you're wrapping Christmas presents or something like that...
