Tina Fey's epiphany

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Thinks her Palin impersonation might have hurt 30 Rock's ratings.

It's nice to see that Fey has finally discovered that when you call half the country wrong and stupid because their political affiliation differs from your own, you risk alienating them.

I say that as someone who doesn't like Palin in the slightest. I think she's very polarizing, but I feel the same way about Fey. The bad part about Fey though is that I want to like her. I think she's funny, smart, and good looking.

It's too bad she's so arrogant and elitist.

Oh, and yes Tina, Alec is as arrogant and elitist as you. And I don't think either of you are "pinko commies", just assholes.

I will be watching to see if Alec keeps a promise for once.

She'll never believe you. She thinks if you don't like her it has to be because your entrenched ideology has blinded you to her awesomeness, not because she is abrasive and off-putting.

Probably true. Looks funny. But I'll be honest and say that I have more television options than I actually have time to watch TV, and it is because of her politics that I've never watched the show.

Ditto. Hell, I'd respect the fuck out of Baldwin if he had moved out of the U.S. as promised when Bush won. It wouldn't matter to me if he moved back when Obama won. He would've stood by his convictions, and whether I argue with the "why" of it or not, I'd respect it a hell of a lot more than him making a promise and then not following through.
