Have never seen this, and have had it heavily recommended to me, so when I saw the blu ray for sale for $8 on black friday, I snagged it.
I am on part 2 of question mark. I know part 3 is on disk 1, and there's another disk.
1. I didn't know it was a TV miniseries going in.
2. If you made a game out of taking a shot of whiskey every time a character said the word "whore," you'd be dead before the end of part 1. By the end of part 2 a cow would be dead.
3. These characters are hard core. Stabbing your own horse in the heart so you have some cover in a gunfight.... holy shit. And don't even get me started on Blue Duck. Even WAY BACK in 1989, I'm surprised they got away with having that character on network TV. I'm just accustomed to the creeping nanny state, I guess.

"You just shot an unarmed man."GORDON wrote:Part 3 really toned down the "whores." Well, usage of the word, anyway.
But the bodycount of women and children continues to rise...
"Well, he should've armed himself."

"Why sir, you are one cowardly son of a bitch. You just shot an unarmed man."
"He should'a armed himself if he's gonna decorate his saloon with the body of my friend."
*gunfight*
"Alright. I'm comin' out. Anyone takes a shot at me, and I'm not only gonna kill them, but I'm gonna kill his friends, and family, and burn his Goddamned house down!"
Great, great movie.
