Synopsis :
I have no fucking idea.
Review :
I've been a fan of Richard Linklater. He's the dude who gave us such films as "Dazed and Confused." This was his maverick film. When it began, I was relatively drunk & in good spirits. After five minutes of viewing, it became crystal clear that I'd want to bitchslap ten thousandfold every cast member with a line. They're so inane and naturalistic that they're caustic. I will hate this film, yet am I still watching. I hate this film, yet I put it on pause when I went to get another drink.
Can anyone explain these events?
Rating : *****/10
Verdict : Wow. I hate this flick. With hatred so pitch that black holes cower in my presence. And I can't stop watching.

If Malcolm's hatred could be described as whole milk with vitamin D, yours would be skim.TPRJones wrote:That's a pretty good desctiption of my response as well (although I suspect my own hatred is just a pale imitation when compared to what Malcolm calls hatred ... not just in this case but in general).

The viewer just follows people around some boring-ass small town in the late '80s and you get to listen to their idiotic banter about what happens in a boring-ass small town.TheCatt wrote:I watched this movie whenever it came out on video.
I dont really remember anything about it. I have some memory of it being mediocre?
