Jason Statham and Jet Li go to war.
Jason is an FBI agent whose partner is murdered by a mysterious hired killer. Jason seeks vengeance and that puts Jet Li in his sights.
Lots of violence and gore here. The action is pretty much non-stop with both Li and Statham putting in good work. Statham continues to be the most unappreciated action star going today.
Everything is pretty straightforward until the last 15 minutes of the film when things get a bit hairy. You'll see it coming too if you're paying attention. I'm not sure I liked it as there are some logic problems, but whatever. This film is about action, the plot is just a device to deliver it.
Also, the ending is pretty definite, but I could see a sequel. Not sure if the box office was big enough to get one done though.
7 out of 10. (Don't except any Oscar nods, but it's entertaining.)
