Big Nothing

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

I picked this one up as I saw Simon Pegg on the cover.

This is a dark comedy starring Pegg and David Schwimmer (Ross on Friends).

Basically, David winds up working with Simon. This leads to a friendship that sees them take a shot at a profitable opportunity that might not be very legal.

As things, predictably, go south Simon, David, and their accomplice try to desperately turn the tide only to discover new obstacles around every turn.

To be honest, this isn't the greatest film ever made. Most of the twists and turns are pretty predictable, including the entire ending, but it's still entertaining. The pace of the movie is very quick so it never drags and the performances are all enjoyable enough.

This is worth a rental, but you'd probably never watch it again after that.

5 out of 10.
