Good, classic sci-fi. Aliens secretly invade the Earth in order to destroy it... or do they?

I can't say much more without revealing spoilers. But I enjoyed it.

The hardcover is on amazon used, cheap.

I just wanted to say that the imagery described in the last 15% of the book... I'm still picturing and conteplating it.

That's interesting. Most is just crap and I read it and forget it.
