I couldn't find a previous thread for this... there's no good search words with which to find it, if it exists.
Anyway, Robin Williams plays a political comedian who gets elected President with the aid of a computer glitch due to use of widespread use of computer voting machines.
I was expecting a lot of commentary about the current administration, but I only got a smidgen.... unless you really think crooked voting machines stole the last election from Kerry, in which case the entire movie is commentary toward the current administration.
Lewis Black is in it, and now and then you can hear bits of his stand-up routine.
He also had a quick line about "The Supreme Court ruling against voters." Sounded like snark about the 2000 election, which would suggest that he's one of the idiots who is wrong about what happened in 2000.
Anyway, if you have nothing better to do, and you've already read the back of the cereal box, this movie, in HD, is slightly better that cutting yourself in order to feel anything except boredom.
Man of the Year
I've noticed that most political themed movies and TV shows are bombing lately. Man of the Year being one of them.
