Game.

MMORPG

I have no clue if it's fun or not... but I won a Beta key in a contest on some place called War Cry that I signed up on yesterday.

Although, having a key just means one day they might pick you to actually play. We'll see.

Well, I got picked. It's a 4GB download, and apparently covered by an NDA where I can't say anything.

I heard that it's not as persistant as some of the other MMORPGs. As in, you conquer territory, etc. But every so often, ownership gets wiped and you start all over, or something like that. So, no one guild/group can own it all indefinately.

Well, it's in Beta, so maybe that's why they wipe it?

I was under the impression that it was the way it was going to be. Characters are not wiped, only territorial claims. It would be like eliminating all soverienty claims in Eve every 6 months or something.
