I haven't seen the film, just the commercials. I have no other knowledge of this film other than the commercials. That being said...
**SPOILER to FOLLOW***
The first time I saw a commercial for this movie I figured that the little girl's make-believe friend was really a multiple personality parent. After seen more commercials, it's obviously Robert Dinero's (her father's) crazy personality.
I don't see how they can make it more obvious without just flat-out saying it. Argh! No I resent seeing the commercials. They just piss me off.
Hide and Seek *SPOILER* - My guess at spoiler anyway
I also nailed "The Others" by watching the commercials, though that wasn't nearly as obvious as "Hide and Seek."
I had two theories for "The Village" before watching it, and figured out which was right during the first part of the movie. The only surprise was when the creature at the end didn't end up being an Elder.
I was wrong about "Gothica" though. I haven't seen the movie, but I thought that Halle's character (a psychologist at a mental ward) was really crazy the whole time, and that the patients and such in her life were multiple personalities and memories in her derranged mind. I hear I was wrong about that though.
So it's Paul 3, Hollywood 1.
If anybody wants to hear my theory about the monster in the TV series Lost, let me know. I came up with an explanation when they found the polar bear.
