Election

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Leson to be learned from this movie: never trust a woman.

Isn't that a Matthew Broderick movie?

That movie is why I got my first beeper.

I remember getting some audience-input tickets for a late draft of that movie. Usually those movies are complete, except for some sound effects, maybe a special effect or two, and the credits. Afterwards we fill out a survey, looking for errors and telling them what we liked or didn't like about the movie.

What I remember about Election was that my girlfriend and her sister got in, but my cousins and I were late so the Paramount guards wouldn't let us in. (It was at Paramount studios.)

So I was stuck in Hollywood for hours with no way of explaining where I was and no backup plan of where to meet. It pretty much blew the day. So she made me get a beeper.

Man... whatever happened to beepers? Does anybody besides TV surgeons carry those around anymore?

Oh... and I still remember my old beeper number: USS-OREO
