Why electing judges is batshit insane, yet the legal system in this country relies on it. Since cops don't have to know the law to enforce it, I assume judges can also interpret it without knowing it.

I think Oliver makes Stewart look like O'Reilly, he's so much farther left, but on this I agree 100%.

Electing judges is insanity. How does the average voter know which candidate is a better judge of the law?

Got to look at past rulings.... which of course the average voter always does. More like the (D) or ® after the names.

I just look at who endorsed which judges and vote based on that.
It's not me, it's someone else.
