The International Association of Exorcists was founded in 1990 by six priests including the world-famous exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth, 88, an Italian priest who is reputed to have cleansed tens of thousands of demonic possessions.
Note those founding details. 1990. 24 years ago. By a dude who claims to have banished tens of thousands of dameons and devils. Well, I guess whatever keeps them away from the altar boys. I always thought of exorcism as the place where religion meets LARPing. Unfortunately, it's almost always performed in the place of proper medical help.
