I wonder if the guy would have found more success had he tried that approach on women during a night of clubbing?

It's just a very unrealistic experiment.

Add liquor and the proper setting, and I think both have more success.

A guy just walking up in broad daylight and asking for sex is psycho.

A hot girl just walking up in broad daylight and asking for sex = you're about to be murdered, get robbed, your girlfriend is testing you, or you're about to get HIV.
