Workers lose...

The union ads against SB5 said nobody would lose their jobs, and in fact, this would make the workers stronger.

Either they were lying, or they're ignorant. Take your pick.

Oh, they are certainly ignorant. There's only two reasons to support the unions, either 1) a willful desire to see the system go up in flames, or 2) good intentions coupled with a complete ignorance of the basics of economics.

Modern unions are clearly in the "why don't we just print more money, then we'll have everything we need" camp of idiocy.

I hated the flood of union commercials running up to the last election. In a way I am glad I am not exposed to the crazy lies any more, but of course I am sad that they are so bad for this economy, and I am sad that so many people can't think beyond, "Form union, we get paid more..." on to Step 2, which is everyone not in the union gets screwed by higher prices, among other things.

But hey, free candy.
