Struck by lightning and destroyed.

There are so many different ways to comment on this I have no idea where to begin.

There is a song about this statue. I believe it was called Sweet Butter Jesus. I have passed this statue with Gordo. I remember commenting it was a great waste of money and if they were religious the money could have been put to better use. Now I read it was a 250,000$ waste of money. Wonder if it was insured?

Judging by the "after" pictures, the robotic endoskeleton makes me wonder if it was on I-75 waiting for Sarah Conner to go by.
