Are no big deal. Pleasantly, but a bit mildly, hot.

My wife said her mouth went numb after one bite.

The fact that they are called "JALAPEÑO GHOST PEPPER FRIES" is sort of a hint. If they were really ghost pepper hot there would be no reason to include jalapeno's in the mix.

Still probably hotter than I would like. I'm at about 70% of jalapeno these days. I lost my flametongue when I moved away from New Mexico.

Yeah, that makes more sense. I can eat JALAPEÑOs 3 meals a day, but ghost peppers ruin my day. I tried these as an experiment... would eat again.

My jalapenos for the year are already planted... can't wait.

Experience tells me there are different hotnesses of jalapenos, so I don't even know know that means any more. I remember I used to eat them almost like candy, then ran into some other ones that were much hotter, and had to scrape half them off my food.
It's not me, it's someone else.

That's because there's a single species that includes everything from bell peppers to cayenne and paprika to jalapenos and green chile <s>to habenero</s>: Capsicum Annuum And since they're one species they can interbreed, so in theory you can get something resembling jalepenos anywhere along that part of the hotness scale depending on the particular cultivar.

EDIT: Oops, habanero is a different species: Capsicum Chinense

Everything labeled "Ghost Pepper" at Red Robin is a joke. I probably should have expected that from a place that won't cook a hamburger properly.

There's no fucking way it's anything more than 1% ghost pepper. Maybe some ghost was in the room when they made the fries. I've had this shit. That is fucking ghost pepper. It is not a mass marketable heat.
