So today I decided, "What the hell, I'll buy a Kinect." But I wanted it now. So, usually I buy from Amazon, but clearly that wouldn't work for get it now.

So I check the 3 local stores.
Best Buy
Walmart
Target

Best Buy and Target allow me to check stock online. Walmart does not. Target has "limited quantities" at a store about 20 minutes away. Best Buy says "available" but not much else.

Only Best Buy allows buying online for in-store pickup. So I decided to start ordering online via BB, but called Walmart at the same time. After being put on hold TWICE for Walmart, I was still able to order from Best Buy (creating a new account, and a new member rewards sign up) before I could even find out if they had it in stock at Walmart.

I don't like BB. I never buy anything from there. But, it was the only one of those three where I could order the way I wanted to.

Target/Walmart - You people are retarded. This is 2010. Get a fucking clue.
It's not me, it's someone else.

No they can't compete because they need to charge sales tax and amazon doesn't.
