It's a mix between, ummm, an officer and a gentleman, minus the love interest, and Independence day. Guy wants to become a ranger, and aliens invade. Lots of good cliche alien action. But there's a lot of 'seriously?' happening too.
It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. If Independence Day entertained you, this should too.
