Alita: Battle Angel (2019)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Yeah, the preview I saw the other week looked... uninteresting.

It was a little slower than I thought it would be. I think the kid liked it better than I did, and he's harder to please. Very much sets up a sequel.

The movie also had the best "Single F-Bomb allowed in a PG-13 Movie" I ever heard.

The wife and I watched it. We both really liked it. Very well developed story. I think a lot of people were actually disappointed because it was more story and character heavy than action heavy. Many aspects reminded me of a Shakespearean tragedy. It did take me about 20 or 30 minutes to get out of the uncanny valley with the main character. Then I was able to fully focus on the characters and the story.
