The life of Stephen Hawking, from university to Knighthood. Dwells a lot on the appearance and progression of his disability, and his personal life. I felt a few parallels in his story, from when my own body was betraying me. At the time, the doctors thought I had the same thing he had. I felt his pain.
His nurse does not come off well, in my opinion, but I'd be willing to discuss that.
And it seemed like he mercy killed his marriage, for his wife's sake. Also a point to discuss.
It's a good flick, Newt Scamander plays Hawking, and does a very good job.

The Theory of Everything
I thought it was a decent flick. Worth the time. Like you said, more biography than documentary of his professional works.
