A family is living in an underground bunker having survived an event. However, they live in constant fear that what survived will find them.
The Skarsgard that plays Pennywise is the dad.
The story is told in the present and in flashbacks. It starts slow, but reels you in as the story moves along.
The acting and direction are good. I do think the movie's lighting could have been better, but the dark shots do fit the tone and story.
I will say nothing else to avoid any spoilers.
Not bad. Definitely not a classic, but I am glad I saw it. Miles and miles better than 21 Cloverfield Lane. (I reference that movie because it was also set in a bunker.) Although, Blast From the Past remains king of the movies set in bunkers hill.
