Despite the massive article that broke yesterday with a bunch of new allegations of pedophilia against Bryan Singer, Millennium Films is sticking with him as director.
This isn't going to end well for them, and if I was a shareholder of Millennium I'd be demanding the board step down immediately.
Who is going to want to star in a movie directed by a pedo? Remi Malik is already under fire for doing Bohemian Rhapsody and has had to publicly claim he knew nothing of the allegations. Who is going to go see a movie directed by a pedo? That's all the media will want to talk about at pressers and in reviews for the movie.
How is this a good business decision?
How do Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, and Bill Cosby all immediately lose their careers and face criminal charges, yet Singer gets the benefit of the doubt?
