Nerve is the American version of the film, but made for teenagers. I did not know that going in or I would have had different expectations.
An insecure teenage girl, Emma Roberts, gets roped into a secret game where she does increasingly dangerous things for money. This is not a really good movie.
She meets fellow gamer, Dave Franco, and they start getting tasks to do together. (Juliette Lewis and Machine Gun Kelly are in the film too if that matters to you.) Eventually this leads to her friends trying to get her out of the game and bring the game to its knees.
It's that last part that really drags this film into dogshit territory. See, she just happens to be friends with a team of hackers...
Seeing Emma Roberts in bra and panties is nice, but the movie is shit. Rent 13: Game of Death instead.
