So I have access to a friend's HBO account and a new "How Did This Get Made" episode covers this movie, thus I watched it.
JLo is a teacher who diddles the neighbor kid and then he gets all psycho.
Terrible, terrible movie. You probably assumed this from the HDTGM shout out.
I could write an essay about all the flaws in this movie, but why bother? None of you will see it.
I do want to share one moment from the film with you:
So the evil young man surprises JLo with a gift, a "first edition of the Iliad". (Think about that for a moment...) It gets better. She says "I can't accept this, it's too much." He responds, "Oh, I got it for a $1 at a garage sale."
Watch it if you want to want the most unerotic erotic thriller in history. Bad writing. Bad acting. Bad direction. I can only assume half the explanation for what was happening hit the cutting room floor.
I recommend it only if you're going to listen to the HDTGM episode afterwards.
