I thought we had a thread for this already?
I was slightly disappointed by it as someone who loved the original. I will admit that it was mostly due to nostalgia. This version is darker and the songs aren't fleshed out as much as the original. In fact, while the "Bear Necessities" song is perfectly fit into the film, King Louie's "I Wanna Be Like You" (or whatever it's called) feels really odd and out of place.
Still, it's a really solid film.
Watch it with your kids.
