Cast photo minus Joker and Waller. Harley Quinn looks like she crawled from a trailer park. With Will Smith as Deadshot. Just why? This flick is going to suck, maybe not as much as Batman and Robin, but fucking bad.

It's not a single book. It's a comic series. The squad is a rotating list of villains/antiheroes as it's whoever's captured and shackled at the moment. I can't even click play on that trailer. The Joker looks so, so fucking bad. He's what I think a second-rate Joker impersonator would be like.

EDIT: There are a few dudes who are, more or less, permanent members. Two are in the flick, one is played by Will Smith. Affleck is also supposed to have a cameo, which should only add to the shittiness.

I'm willing to give this Joker a chance.

But he sort of does look like Eurotrash Joker. I keep expecting a thick German accent.

That is incorrect. Bale said he wouldn't do it again without Nolan. I know he later recanted, but I think it was too late.

I'm giving Affleck a chance. That new Joker though...ugh. He looks like complete shit, his laugh is terrible, and his voice does not fit the character.

They fucking nailed Harley Quinn's look though. I want to hear her talk more.

I do not have high hopes for this film, which actually could work in its favor.

The Joker does not wear a grill. He's also Jared Leto, the dude that is most famous for getting the shit beat out of him by Ed Norton in Fight Club, and as frontman for 30 Seconds to Mars.

This is what I was talking about when I said DC doesn't know its own characters or doesn't get their comics folks involved in the movies enough.

Hell, no. I can't believe that after fuck knows how many years, the best Batman is still down to Keaton and West. The Nolan batrilogy is not aging well and it's a steep climb downwards in quality as it goes on.

Bale wasn't horrible nor was Nolan's trilogy. Bale's biggest mistake was the voice, and he did not portray a realistic Bruce Wayne. Keaton was the best Wayne.

Nolan's trilogy has huge plot holes, but his villains were solid.

West is just awesome.

Oh, I should also mention the Squad is run by a chick named Amanda Waller. She looks like the result of the Kingpin having a one-night stand with Roz from "Night Court."
