Goddam, this show is a liberal millennial wet dream.
Every white guy is a rapist, an incestuous perv, a guy cheating on his wife, or a thug. Every single one. Also, they are not checking their privilege AT ALL.
Every white woman is in a non-traditional relationship with anything but a white guy, including other women. Every black woman is only with black guys.
The monstrous villain is a white British guy who is a rapist, murderer, child murderer, and thief, with a tendency to forcefully colonize other peoples minds.
I am only half way through, but abortion is practically a protagonist. I personally agree with the decision to abort the rape baby, but still... there it is.
And there are other things I thought of while watching that I can't even remember right now.
I am enjoying the show, but jesus.

I don't like the "oh it's a virus that acts instantaneously" angle. That isn't how viruses work. I'd be happier with a fucking "direct mind control because of telepathic waves" explanation.
