The Ridiculous Six
If the guy who reviewed Pixels reviews this, someone post it here immediately.
Adam Sandler meets his dad, Nick Nolte, and has to help him by raising money. Along the way he meets his 5 brothers that he, and they, didn't know about.
For some reason, Sandler plays this movie straight the whole way. He never cracks a smile or makes a face. It's really odd. Meanwhile, everyone else is doing their best to make the film remotely watchable.
The laughs are few and far between, although a few do exist.
Netflix gave Sandler a big contract for 6 films and he has total creative control and this film reeks of it. It's a lazy effort and features a bunch of his friends.
Best line from a review I saw: "Taylor Lautner never saw Tropic Thunder because he goes full retard."
The worst Adam Sandler film I've ever seen and I watched this one night after watching Pixels.

Either this is the most bald-faced lie I've ever seen you tell, or they were all after about twenty minutes in that being the point at which I gave up and considered setting my television on fire to cleanse it.
I'm sorely tempted to cancel my Netflix subscription. It may be my sworn duty as a decent human being to minimize the damage they can do with my money.

Look, don't do this to yourself. Whatever you are paying penance for this is not worth it. Just stop.

I'm happy to say they did occur later in the film.TPRJones wrote:Either this is the most bald-faced lie I've ever seen you tell, or they were all after about twenty minutes in that being the point at which I gave up and considered setting my television on fire to cleanse it.The laughs are few and far between, although a few do exist.

The first 30-40 minutes of this movie are horrendous. I was playing Wasteland 2 at the same time, which is why I didn't shut it off.

I call bullshit. There's no way it had more viewers than number of titular characters.TheCatt wrote:Most popular Netflix release

I think it's legit.
Name another Netflix original movie (not show) that was released on the service.
I can't name a single one...
