While Vin Diesel prepares to bring back his characters from Fast and Furious and XXX, he doesn’t want you to forget about Riddick. The actor took to Instagram on Friday to tease plans for a Riddick companion TV series and the next installment of the films.

“Last night Our company had a party to launch Our TV division. Very exciting,” he wrote before announcing the two upcoming projects.

Merc City “is a show that will follow the Mercs and Bounty Hunters of the Riddick Universe,” while the next Chronicles of Riddick film will be titled Furia. Diesel added that “DT” (director/screenwriter David Twohy) will begin penning the movie sequel next month.

I picture really good but short lived. It'll be too expensive and wont pull in 1985 Cosby numbers so it will be gone.
