Chef

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Jon Favreau stars as a chef in this Jon Favreau movie that was written by Jon Favreau and produced by Jon Favreau. Favreau.

He's frustrated working where he is, for another guy who owns the restaurant, and goes on a redemptive journey of food. This movie is Favreau rated R, but the only porn is food porn. (Language, I guess, it sure isn't anything else).

The plot is fairly predictable, and the ending was just kinda tacked on, but the film is certainly uplifting and enjoyable. Yeah, you won't remember it 10 years from now, but it's an enjoyable movie for a night out. Favreau

So, he stopped directing Iron Mans for that?

Jon Favreau stars as a chef who loses his restaurant and has to rediscover his passion and his priorities.

Jon wrote and directed this film, and I like his work, but I laughed that he put himself into a love triangle here with ScarJo and Sophia Vergara. Jon's gained 200 pounds easy since Iron Man 2. Only in Hollywood would those two women be interested in an out of work chef.

This film was odd to me as there's no real story. It's simply about Jon's character and the journey he takes from the beginning of the film to the end. As I stated, it starts off with him in a rut and divorced. One critic later, and he's unemployed and forced to reinvent himself and get his life back on track.

If you're a foodie, this film is a no brainer. If you're a fan of acting, again, it's a no brainer. Everybody does a great job. Just know that this is a character piece. Don't come for any sort of action.

Other stars in this film include: Oliver Platt, John Leguizamo, Dustin Hoffman, and Iron Man himself.

Recommended, but it won't be for everyone.
