The Musketeer (2001)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

From the director of Timecop. This is not a selling point. The direction is awful, the editing is a mess, and the acting is sub par. It's clear that certain major plot elements were changed in editing with little more than a couple of voiced over lines and a few pickup shot, and they weren't edited in very smoothly. This is a movie that has been done much better many other times.

However there are two things that made this a fun movie for me. One is that the lead role of D'Artagnan was played by Alex Karev from Grey's Anatomy (not well, mind you, but it was still funny to see). The other is that Tim Roth was a delightful villain, if under utilized a bit. If you enjoy watching either of those actors this might be worth your time. If not then skip it.
