It's basically been downhill since Ewoks. I would say since Holiday Special but Empire was pretty good. And the first act of Return, where they wrecked Jabba's operation, was pretty good.

But the solo Droid is LITERALLY a warrior for social justice, with the same ability to annoy the characters around it.

Yeah, "SW fatigue" would be legit if 10,000 horror movies (the most profitable genre) didn't come out every year or 100 superhero movies that constantly smash box office records.
