To my knowledge, there's no evidence that Chewbacca isn't a flaming homosexual. His wookie growl might actually have like a really homosexual lisp. We wouldn't know. They should explore that.

Box office is WAY below estimates and expectations.

It's not what you would think of when you say "bomb", but many, many (legit) sites are calling it just that, a bomb.

It's basically been downhill since Ewoks. I would say since Holiday Special but Empire was pretty good. And the first act of Return, where they wrecked Jabba's operation, was pretty good.

The rest sucks balls.

Yes, I saw from the first viewing that being a white, male, cocky, brash cowboy was now a bad thing.

But the solo Droid is LITERALLY a warrior for social justice, with the same ability to annoy the characters around it.

That article sucks. It gives the film two lame excuses for bombing, including the studios "SW fatigue" bullshit, but never mentions what is really happening with fan backlash over the handling of the franchise.

Yeah, "SW fatigue" would be legit if 10,000 horror movies (the most profitable genre) didn't come out every year or 100 superhero movies that constantly smash box office records.
