I noticed last night I have 6 things in my in game mailbox. Didn't look though as I was trying to kill Cake.

I'm going golfing tonight, not sure if I'll go to the bar afterwards or not. If not, I'll continue leveling.

They're doing some really dumb moves to cut down the queues.

If you are any sort of AFK now, for just 5 minutes, kicked.

That's not enough time for a good bathroom trip.

Yeah, that is way to short, but they are changing it.

Yep, we agree that the AFK kick timer is too short. A fix is being built right now to address it.

...But in the meantime.

Harvested everything. Didn't have enough money to replant everything. Lots of unfilled space at the farms.

I have 390 Narcissus. How much more do we need? I have 50 mushrooms. According to my research, we need 50 mushrooms and 190 Narcissus each. I'm guessing we can stop planting this stuff now?

What are we planting now?

Can you rerun the trade route quests? In other words, can I make another Solzreed Dried Food and deliver it to that guy for another 3.25 gold, or do I have to get a quest for trade runs?

Doing some reading about trade packs. Ways to 'cheat'. Create a character on each side. Create a pack by one of them, have them meet in the middle and have the enemy faction character pick it up and deliver it. That's how you deliver a trade pack into enemy territory.

If you lose your pack, and someone else turns it in, do you still get paid?

You get 30%

I lost two tradepacks and both were picked up by ocean salvagers. Both times were turned in for charcoal. Not wood or gilda.

Charcoal is used to craft items - but i haven't done research past that. More importantly it sells for like 2-3 gold each.

THe 4th Quest Trade pack was worth 15 charcoal. I got 3.

I've heard normal trade routes are 4 gilda. Not sure about gold or resources.

Yes. PVP areas give more reward than overland safe routes. The % on your trade routes goes up or down based on traffic.

Gilda + Resource vendors are not available in safe overland routes.

I'm going to spam over land routes. 3+ gold for not much upfront investment and can mostly do other things while doing them. Have goose and grapes running now for it. Please don't chop my grape trees! Hardest part about the last one was staying connected. Kept getting the disco message while on the air ship.

Grand adventures!!

But first we had death. . .

Both of us tried to run our large farm trade packs and died to a jelly fish. Didn't take long. So Troy decided to build a boat. He racked up the resources real quick and built it in the water by Two Crowns. We had some boats funs for a bit trying out the guns and harpoon and stuff. It was too late to try the trade runs again (make 'em, travel via public transportation back to the shore, etc). So we decided to go to Cinderstone to see if we could find some PvP. I asked on the way there "We hunting reds or anyone?" The answer was "We'll see when we get there" hehe. Well, we run into the PvP region and I'm looking at trees to harvest, etc. Saw someone up ahead on the path and clicked to see what color and level they were. They were green, but I forget the level. As I got closer, I noticed he was carrying a trade pack. I announced it in TS and Troy was freaking out. "KILL HIM!! KILL HIM!!" I'm like "Really? We can?"
"Yes! DO IT!"
I'm trying to target and it's not working. Then I switch to PvP mode (ctrl+f) and now I can! So I stun him with my 5 second stun. About this time, Troy shows up and he starts hitting the guy. The guy is just hobbling along, unable to defend himself and certainly can't run. He goes down and Troy grabs the trade pack.
"Guess what he was carrying" Troy said.
Large Farm trade pack!! We jump off the cliff into the water anticipating his guild friends to come and avenge him. We are scrambling to get on the boat and drive off. We finally get aboard and we sail off towards the island. This boat is FAST. We are there in no time. Troy decided to just go right for the dock and hope no one was there. If they were, we would beach it and run for it. No one was there. We pull in, turn it in. The original owner gets some of the charcoal, but I get most of it. And, I got my Large Farm!! Funny thing is, this dude was literally a few steps from safety when we found him. We had just entered the PvP zone. No idea what he was doing there. At first I felt bad for him. But as soon as I saw his Guild (Vindictive), I didn't feel too bad. Based on chat spam, no one likes Vindictive, except for Vindictive. So, it sounds like they are dicks anyways.

But score! First PvP kill nets us a bunch of charcoal that will sell well and a large farm. Rock on! Looking forward to doing more trade runs to that island with the boat. Just for the profit. You can store packs in your house, right? And they are secure? We can pile them up there and then head out as a group.

Look, all I remember about tonight is that we lost two trade packs so we built a boat and then some guy in Cinderstone felt bad for your SOL story and gave us his tradepack. Very thoughtful of him.

Sweet! was the guy you killed of the same faction as us? I kinda doubt it if he was running a scarecrow trade pack and was on our continent, but i'm curious. If he was, then you are well on your way to becoming pirates! Also, did you guys check to see if you got honor points for killing him? If so how many? and who got them? both or you, or just the person who killed him?

I closed a gig and got it on the books yesterday. I was so productive that today at work I'm going to spend some time figuring out what giant image I want on my boat sail. Default is the golden unicorn pictured above.

We were partied at the time and both got criminal points. I'm at 52 points and 3000 makes me a pirate. Troy was at 22. I think we only got one point for killing him. The same you get for pulling someone else's crops! He was in that Vindictive guild you see everywhere. I didn't check or see anything about honor points. But I'm guessing that we did not being that he was green to us.

That's what happened to me the other night.

Got booted, tried to jump back in and the queue was over an hour.

I hope you guys appreciate me continuing to give this game a chance because I've never given any game this much effort that is clearly going to as much trouble as possible to make me not want to play it.

I'll be at it again tonight and this weekend.
