i need to find something thats easy to craft and use my labor up on and sell on the AH. Having 5k max labor is a waste, i need to be using it up. Since i only have a small farm i'm kinda limited in that part of the game right now, but i could be getting my crafting skills up. Any ideas Troy?

u need to be able to remotely access your computer and que up. I know there are ways to do this but i don't know what it takes.

I disagree. I shouldn't have to do that to log on to a video game.

I'll log on when I get home tonight and see where that gets me.

Illegal CorkFarms.
or
Fishing (?) I know you can do this from the shore, but that's it

Left it going for a while when I went to the park, still 550. At least another 45m.

guess more F2p are going Patron.

The devs posted on the fourms that both their main cluster and expansion cluster of server capacity was completely used up over the Headstart and Launch. Said they were excited to begin installing new clusters in Texas today.

I'm not saying the are lying, but a slow gradual expansion of servers is probably the wise financial decision, make sure you can support each dilution.

2 hours IS unacceptable, but since it has just launched and i don't usually play until 9pm anyways, i can somewhat accept it and make it work. But, if it's still like this a month from now i'm gonna be full on pissed!

It won't be like this in a month. It will be worse. You won't have patron status any more!!

Every thing about this game has been unacceptable. Horrible horrible launch. Forgive them because they weren't the first? Nope. I am so glad they refused to take my money on launch. I'd be PISSED right now if they did.

HEADSTART so you can build up and get stuff before other people! No you can't, because there's not enough stuff to go around to all the head starters. No you can't, because there are too many other people trying to log in and you can't. Etc. People paid money to get a "head start", and only a percentage of them actually did. The rest aren't any better off than me. Sure, they have more labor points. But they have just as much land, items, etc as me. Not a head start.

Waiting 2 hours to play a game is dumb. Sure, you can work around it. But it's not acceptable. I don't want to have to plan my day around getting in queue at the right time so it's ready when I am. What if it connects early and I'm not ready? Well, be ready NOW, or lose your place and try again tomorrow? What if I start too late, it's not ready, but I am. Oh, now it's ready? Well, I have to be done soon. Crazy wrong. Acting like it's anything else is just denial. :-)

Maybe having such a small amount of player land (and world size over all) is by design, or it's a limitation in hardware/resources. Either way, bad design in my opinion. To under estimate the demand for land to the degree they did is just ridiculous. There's been one other game in the history of MMOs that had player owned land. And they had a SHIT ton more of it than this game does. And even that filled up in a matter of hours. If they game offers land, EVERY SINGLE PLAYER ACCOUNT WILL WANT LAND. There won't be a single player that won't want land. Plan to have enough land for every single account, or, you are fucking some of your players. The players should be vying for prime real estate plots. Not vying for a spot at all.

And it sounds like 'Trade runs' are the end game? That's what everyone is aspiring for? To do a profitable trade run, or break one up? This isn't a complaint. This is an honest question. That's all anyone talks about, so just curious if that's the big fun in the game. And it might be. We'll see. Again, just asking.

Yes. It's too early to tell if this is a fun game. We have to keep leveling up and spend time in the game to learn it and give it a chance. Well. We would. If we could. :-) Fully intend to as well. Just hurry up already. Geez.

As they add new servers, all OLD or ORIGINAL patrons should get their 4 day head starts on all of those new servers. That's the best way I think they could make amends. Give the people a chance at what they paid for. They should also limit the number of houses an account can have so that people don't keep land grabbing on every single server that gets launched. I swear. It's like people have never heard of UO before.

Isn't it funny. Most of the big things that MMOs try to do. . . UO, been there, done that. And yet, no one has ever recreated it. Hell, or learned from it.

Agree the Queues are insane and I don't know what the end game is, but that's the usual.

Still, just checked and I'm finally in, so gonna do what I can tonight.

e: got enough flowers, crafting trade quest 4 pack and will try to shoot the straight tonight

e: got one farm doing small things for trade quests. other one has 4 olive trees. Making steady gold off harvested olives(required for trade quest) selling at 28 silver/piece

How many people would actually have 220g at this point?

Small guilds could, but that'd be the minimum. If you had a grove of olive trees in a large farm you could probably clean up, but you'd need 2-3 people doing that and the farm space for it.

You know there's probably some mob out there in the world that gives loot too that we don't know about.

or - going rate from gold spammers it 50 gold per 11 bucks

Remember how people bought titans back in eve?

* Another one - 500 for small house (doesn't say pvp or not)

I expected this as players over extended themselves during the land grab, or grabbed more as an investment and want to cash out, or have settled on another server and are cashing out on Ollo.

Didn't make it, got killed trying to go overland. I hit the other continent further south than the docks and tried to go east. I think if I can crept along the sea I would have made it, staying in the land "zone" or if I had a big faster boat and could have gone straight into the dock.

The ocean monsters were doable with healing potions. Fuck that jellyfish.

Was killed by pcs though right as I entered the other city land side? I guess i drew aggro first from some NPC guards and then got attacked by pcs. I wasn't in a war zone.

New servers on the way, nice to hear. But what they really need to do is allow us to transfer servers when they do come up.
