Stupid. As if the tech world needs another proprietary thing to deal with.

What's more likely:
A. Tech companies completely ignore this new OS.
B. Tech companies bend over backwards for this new OS, which just happens to be in a market that's very friendly to software pirates.

This would be a hell of a way for China to put another hurdle in front of its economic growth.
