As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country it will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone….

That particular Muslim population of that particular country? Sure, because religion doesn't cross borders

I also don't see examples. I see bullshit estimates on percentage-based demographics. That author is also fucking insane. Like Orson Scott Card insane. Curtis LeMay insane. Dr. Strangelove insane.
This crusade would have involved wholeheartedly military action against armed Islamists; closed borders throughout the West to prevent any more Muslims from entering, regardless of how cute the children are; education at home aimed at getting Westerners to understand the threat and to tear young Muslims away from their affiliation to a conquering faith; and constant vigilance.

Wipe the foam from your mouth.

Moreover, they may have been aided in this regard by Barack Obama’s increasingly manifest hatred for Israel, the world’s only Jewish state.

Really? Hatred?

I seem to recall Obama sucking Isreal's dick just like every President has. Failure to swallow doesn't mean a dick still hasn't just been sucked.

Yeah, remember how he sucked their dick by suggesting they go back to borders from before the 7 day war? They were so cozy together during that visit.

That's far from the seething hatred the article is claiming.

I think "seething indifference and incompetence" is more accurate when speaking of Obama's position about anything.

I think that's accurate Gordo. Obama is more like, "I don't care what you think or want, this is how I see you proceeding".

No animosity about it. Until Netanyahu made him look like a man-child during that particular visit. The look Bobo had at that time was pretty consistent with seething hatred.

I'll grant the incompetence.

Obama is more like, "I don't care what you think or want, this is how I see you proceeding".

The attitude of every prez in our lifetimes. Fuck that, every politician in DC.

Most Presidents in the past, including W, managed to work with a majority of the other party in congress. Obama cannot, and will not. His Presidency has very much been his dictating what he wants, not getting it from Congress, and doing it anyway by executive decree.

I think the "worst president since WW2" ranking is only going to grow stronger as his time passes, not less.

Bah.

I recall a bit on the Daily Show when they were showing times when Congress and the White House were dominated by opposing parties and what happens when a new president comes in. Stewart had clip after clip of the current Congress bashing the current admin and pining for the days of "willingness to talk and compromise." Then he would cut to the clips of that Congress and the previous White House tenants. Congress gets amazingly forgiving when you leave office. If you're in and from the other party, then fuck you.

I think the "worst president since WW2" ranking is only going to grow stronger as his time passes, not less.

He's got Nixon, Carter, and Dubyuh to pass up. Until he creates something as stupid as the DHS, Dubyuh wins. Yeah, B. Rock allows it to continue existing in the same way he allows the DEA to continue existing. I'm not slamming him nearly as much as their respective creators, though. Once you get a bad idea funded in DC, you can't unfund it.

People are starting to realize what Nixon did pretty much pales in comparison to Obama... his stock is rising. People are longing for W's 5.5% unemployment rate and $2.00 gasoline. And Carter has his humanitarian stuff.

Obama was a community organizer, you know.

When did this happen? Did B. Rock order a break in performed by the most amateur fuckwits he could find and have several feature films made about it?

People are longing for W's 5.5% unemployment rate and $2.00 gasoline.

The last time I paid $2 for gasoline must've been fucking high school. That shit ain't coming back until we get some energy policy shit sorted out, which is something else every prez since Three Mile Island has dropped the ball on.

And Carter has his humanitarian stuff.

That's the closest comparison I can see. Dude who came in, was the exact opposite of his predecessor, and looked decent by comparison for a couple years. If B. Rock had come in after Clinton, he'd be getting destroyed.

On another note, I'd tell the entire Middle East to have a game of Irish standoff because I'm tired of dealing with their endless ancestral and religious bullshit. I'd still covertly try to fuck with them, but fuck brokering peace talks, fuck economic aid of any sort to either side.

Actually, Nixon covered up the break-in once it became obvious that someone in his administration ordered it. If you have any evidence that Nixon ordered it, then by all means, please enlighten.

For 2008:
December 1 $1.87 $43.70 8,149.09 OPEC removes 2.2 million barrels from daily production. Fed cuts rate to zero. LIBOR falls to 2.19%. Big 3 auto bailout.

Actually, Nixon covered up the break-in once it became obvious that someone in his administration ordered it.

Would be nice if we knew that for certain.
Physical evidence that might have corroborated the testimony was destroyed by a number of people involved in and peripheral to the first burglary, including G. Gordon Liddy, Jeb Magruder, John Dean, and the acting head of the FBI at the time, L. Patrick Gray, who resigned after his admission of destruction of evidence that had been taken from the safe of E. Howard Hunt.

Howard Hunt, one of the two admitted co-commanders, said under oath in congressional testimony that the reason for the first burglary was because G. Gordon Liddy "had information" from "a government agency" that "the Cuban government was supplying funds to the Democratic Party." Hunt said that to "investigate this report, a surreptitious entry of Democratic national headquarters at the Watergate was made." No such report from a government agency was produced in evidence, and no other physical evidence is in the record to support or corroborate this motive.

G. Gordon Liddy, Hunt's co-commander has never cited Cuban contributions to the Democrats as a motive for a first burglary. For several decades, Liddy never cited any reason for the first burglary except for an oral order Liddy said he received in a private meeting with Nixon adviser Jeb Magruder, which Liddy says took place "toward the end of April" 1972. According to Liddy, Magruder said that he "wanted to hear anything that was going on inside the office of Larry O'Brien, who was the chairman of the DNC" (and who was in Miami, Florida at the time); that Magruder "wanted to be able to monitor his [O'Brien's] telephone conversations;" and that "if there was anything else lying around," that was to be photographed.

Hmm, Magruder then. Alright...

Magruder met with White House Counsel John Dean and John N. Mitchell (Attorney General of the United States and Director of CREEP) on January 27 and February 4, 1972, to review preliminary plans by G. Gordon Liddy (Counsel to CREEP) for intelligence gathering ideas for the 1972 campaign. The Watergate burglaries would evolve from those meetings.

Awesome. Either the prez had nothing to do with it or he was so fucking dense he couldn't figure out anything was going on. Yeah, I want him in power.

Magruder was the only direct participant of the scandal to claim that President Nixon had specific prior knowledge of the Watergate burglary, and that Nixon actually directed Mitchell to proceed with the burglary, which was organized by G. Gordon Liddy and E. Howard Hunt.

Granted that's not exactly a trustworthy source, but he's no worse a liar than the rest.

Liddy and Hunt and one or two others actually got together after everyone had served their time and the sting had passed. Keep in mind that most of these guys up the ladder were tried or testified at different times and Liddy was already in prison when the hearings were going on.

While Magruder SAID the order came from Nixon, he didn't hear it from Nixon. He heard it from Dean (who said it came from Nixon). All the participants involved were able to trace the communications back to Dean.

This is for the DNC break-in. Not the break-in of the shrink's office in CA.
