Oh, and if you work for a company where IT is getting pushed around by users, your company is behind the times. Not saying IT is the end all be all, but letting users dictate technology based on what's cool is not how successful businesses are run.

They (IT departments) are doing this even though managing a bunch of Macs is harder for many of them than managing a bunch of Windows PCs. Almost 40% said that Macs are harder for IT to deal with than Windows.

I couldn't agree more. In fact, MS's $150 million donation to Apple is the only reason Apple is still around. Well, that and RealNetworks stupidly turning down the device that would later be called the iPod.
