Just wondered what you thought about your impression that there was a guard who was the most humane person in the show, after you got all the way through season 2.
And now that I think about it, I am not even sure exactly who you meant... Healy? Because he started out seemingly nice and ended up being a monster. The stupid guard putting up with all the shit from his pregnant girlfriend? He's a fucking idiot.
I even liked Pornstache a little more than him, after his brief return.

I think the message of the show is that everyone is awful. Actually, that's unfair. How about that everyone makes mistakes, and perhaps the punishment doesn't always fit the crime.
I was talking about the guy with one leg. While the story line put him in a bad situation, was he really a bad guy? He did try and turn himself in, plus let's not forget that the guy who took the fall was a complete scumbag who has a girl's death on his hands.
I will miss Pornstache.

I think the assistant warden was the only "major role" chick who came on the show and left without us ever seeing her tits.

I like one-leg and overall he's a good guy, but he's certainly had his few moments of scumbaggery. But much better than pornstache, who was a total douche. Although it's slightly touching that the last thing he did on the way out was declare he would do right by preggers and "his" baby; that's nice.
